UIA accepts money right at the airport counter
From October 1, UIA allowed passengers at a number of foreign airports to pay for additional services directly at the check-in desk using credit cards without contacting the ticket office.
To make a payment, the existing rack equipment is used using the Amadeus Payment Platform system. The payment card is scanned by a tape reader. If the counter is not equipped with such a device, the agent of the handling company can manually enter the bank card number into the system and thus make a payment.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards. Currently, this solution is implemented at the check-in counters at the airports in the following cities: Almaty, Alicante, Amman, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Athens, Barcelona, Bologna, Brussels, Budapest, Cairo, Copenhagen, Delhi, Düsseldorf, Yerevan, Rome, Frankfurt, New York, Chisinau, Krakow, Larnaca, London, Madrid, Munich, Milan (Malpensa and Bergamo), Beijing, Prague, Riga, Tbilisi, Tel Aviv, Astana, Berlin, Venice, Vienna, Valencia, Vilnius, Warsaw, Toronto.
From October 15, the Amadeus Payment Platform system will be operated at the airports of Istanbul and Ankara, so that passengers departing from these cities will also be able to pay for additional services by bank cards at check-in counters.
Earlier, UIA began to accept payment of various fees at the check-in desks at the Boryspil Base Airport using bank pos-terminals.
