According to Vladimir Okara, director of the Airport-Poltava airport, today’s flight is almost 99% full - the aircraft has a passenger capacity of 149 seats, and 146 passengers are registered.

Flights to Sharm el-Sheikh will be regular. Airplanes will depart every Tuesday at 16.00. From June, departures will be made on Thursdays and Sundays.

As you know, on December 20, 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to grant international status to the Poltava airport. Subsequently, large-scale construction work began, in particular, the airport terminal was overhauled. Aviagavan was equipped with special equipment and necessary equipment.

V.i.o. the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration Roman Tovsty commented that the airport as it is now cost 69 million UAH. We also need funds in the amount of 60 million UAH for a fire truck and for additional equipment for personnel. And for budgetary funds (approximately 300 million UAH) it is necessary to make repair of the runway.
