Belarus plans to increase exports of travel services

Belarus this year plans to increase exports of travel services to $ 480 million, with about 70% of its total volume is occupied by Russia, the website of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.

"The main objective in 2015 in the tourism sector is to ensure the export of tourism services in the amount of not less than $ 480 million. Exports of tourism services in January-November 2014 amounted to $ 236 million, a 8.6% increase compared to the same period of 2013. Among the regions best results reached Minsk region, providing export growth of 14.5%, "- said in a statement on the website.

According to the embassy, about 70% of total exports of travel services Belarus traditionally occupied by Russia, and cooperation with our country in the field of tourism will continue to be given special attention.

"However, in 2015, efforts to promote the countrys tourism opportunities will also focus on the Western European market and the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa).
