Belarus has resumed flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, according to Egyptian Ahram Online publication with reference to the Middle East News Agency.
Republic of Belarus Ambassador to Egypt Sergey Rachkov said that his country has resumed flights to the Red Sea Resort - Sharm el Sheikh - Wednesday, April 20, after a five-month break.
After the attack the Russian aircraft shot down on Sinai, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with other foreign foreign ministries recommended its citizens to refrain from visiting Egypt.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry of Belarus does not take out the travel ban, but still the number of tourists in the Egyptian resorts of the country fell sharply after the incident.
It should be noted that Belarus took the second place in the flow of tourists to Egypt after Russia.
