Citizens of Ukraine will be able to visit Thailand without a visa for a period of up to 30 days. The new rule will come into force on April 15 of this year. It is reported by Sayama Travel Group, with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom. The published document lists 56 countries on whose citizens this condition applies, including Ukraine.

The travel agencies remind: so far the Ukrainians are applying for visas upon arrival in Thailand, and today there is no need to pay for it: the visa fee was canceled last year. The moratorium was extended first until January 13, then until the end of April. But the positive effect of a visa-free trip with Thailand will still bring, since the speed of passing through all the formalities will increase. “There were cases when it took several hours to open a visa, as a result of which people were late for internal connecting flights. Or, with a late departure, he waited until everyone would get a visa. Some forgot to take a photo, print a return ticket, all that needed to be done promptly on the spot. Now such moments will be a thing of the past, ”notes Kompas director Mikhail Tyurin.

Another positive thing is that there will be no need to apply for a visa for the small category of travelers who go to Thailand for more than 15 days. In the meantime, they need to submit all the necessary documents for this (certificate from a bank, from a job or study) to the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Kiev - a procedure that many have already learned during the period of visa-free travel with EU countries. At this point, draws the attention of the head of the visa department of "Extravaganza" Marina Mologa.
