Top beaches in the world
Beach Navajo on the island of Zakynthos in Greece topped the list of the best in the world, according to the largest Canadian travel agency Flight Network. About this writes The Sun.
Based on thousands of travel professionals from 165 countries, the agency’s experts name the world's 100 best beaches annually. Beaches are rated for their pristine beauty, the quality of sand and water, as well as the distance from the main tourist. Topped the list of Navajo on the Greek island of Zakynthos. It is also known as the Beach of the Sunken Ships. Its main feature is a ship beached after shipwreck, which reminds of the dangerous surrounding rocky waters.
Second place went to Whitehaven Beach in Queensland, Australia. It is a white ribbon of sand surrounded by green forests. In these places it is sunny 290 days from 365. There are few people on the beach, as there is not a single hotel nearby.
Closes the top three Lost Beach in El Nido on the Philippine island of Palawan. It is surrounded by limestone rocks. El Nido is considered one of the best places for diving.
Brazilian Praia do Sancho in the state of Pernambuco, Mexican Tulum Beach, Grace Bay on Providenciales of the British overseas Terks and Caicos Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, Seven Mile Beach in Jamaica also hit the top 10 beaches in the world. Closing the top ten is the Anse Source d'Argent beach in the Seychelles, closed to Maya Bay in Thailand and Varadero Beach in Cuba.
