Tour operators celebrate good sales in Montenegro, surpassing last year's figures. According to Adria Hit director Vladimir Shvets, the May runs were sold to almost all tour operators, and tours with departures in June are also well filled. The head of Montenegro and Sri Lanka, ALF TO, Maria Smiyan, states more active sales compared to last summer season.

Vladimir Shvets notes that the dynamics of sales is influenced not only by a good early booking, but also by the fact that tours to Montenegro are more affordable as compared to Croatia and Albania. Despite the fact that the rise in prices has affected this country as well, neighboring areas have increased in price even more. Another reason was that this year tour operators did not increase the volume in Montenegro. Maria Smiyan, in turn, adds that one of the factors was also the pricing policy of hoteliers. "Many network hotels in Montenegro extended early booking promotions until the end of April. New hotels are also opening, renovations are already under way. It is also noticeable that many properties are becoming more customer-oriented, more attention is paid to their advertising. For example, rooms in one of the newly opened hotels in February they were completely sold out for the whole summer season ", - said Maria Smiyan.

Good sales of Montenegro in Ukraine were also noted last year. According to its results, Ukraine ranked fourth in the number of foreign tourists visiting this country. In absolute figures, this is about 50 thousand people, an increase compared with 2017 amounted to 18%. Such statistics were voiced at the recent presentation of Montenegro in Kiev by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Montenegro in Ukraine Lyubomir Mishurovich. This is reported by Travel Press Club.

But the situation, according to the tourist industry, may change. Despite the backlog in the form of a good depth of sales and competitive prices, other Adriatic destinations may well pull in the flow of tourists, since there the transportation volumes announced for the summer have noticeably increased. And if the demand does not meet them, "burning" will be almost inevitable.
