Ukraine will not give visas at international airports

From January 1, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will stop issuing visas to foreigners upon arrival at the international airports and expand the functionality of the electronic visa.

This was announced by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Zayats in an interview with the “Left Bank”.

"From January 1, the issuance of visas at international airports ceases and the functionality of the electronic visa is expanded," said Hare.

As reported, from January 1, the number of states whose citizens will be able to apply for an electronic visa to enter Ukraine is increasing, and the list of grounds for issuing it is expanding.

This list includes trips with a business, private, tourist purpose, as well as with the aim of treatment, implementation of activities in the field of culture, science, education, sports, and for representatives of foreign media in order to fulfill their official duties.

To apply for an e-visa, you must fill out an online form, download scanned copies of the necessary documents, pay on the site with a bank card (MasterCard Worldwide or Visa International payment systems) and print the e-mail received by e-mail.

From January 1, the cost of such a visa will be $ 85.

The list of countries whose citizens can apply for e-visas for entry into Ukraine includes Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, Belize, Bolivia, Bhutan, Vanuatu, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Grenada, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Indonesia, Cambodia, Kiribati, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Kuwait, Laos, Mauritius, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Oman, Palau, Peru, Salvador, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Singapore, Saul Islands, Suriname, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Fiji, Jamaica.

As you know, since April, the consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine began issuing electronic visas (e-visa) to foreigners to enter Ukraine.
