In the first half of December 2018 (December 6, 2018 - December 17, 2018), the XVIIIth International Jazz Bez Festival will be held in Lviv.
Lviv Jazz Bez (Jazz Without) is one of the most famous and longest-running jazz festivals in Ukraine, which not only managed to successfully live for more than 15 years, but which manages to increase the audience every time, invite titled performers from around the world and attach new ones to the jazz movement cities.
Starting in 2000 with performances by several jazz bands in Lviv and Przemysl, now Jazz Bez has spread to the cultural centers of Ukraine and Poland, with performers from many countries participating in it. Kiev and Warsaw, Kharkov and Poznan, Rivne and Bialystok ... but the heart of Jazz Bez was Lviv: a city where jazzmen gather to leave for concerts in all other locations of the festival.
The 18th Jazz Bez will unite around Lviv Lviv, Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Ternopil, Rivne, Lutsk, Uzhgorod, Mariupol, Berdichev, Drohobych, Kramatorsk, as well as Polish Wroclaw, Peremyshl, Lublin, Bialystok and Novitsu .
In the City of the Lion jazz is played in the city philharmonic society, and evening jam sessions are held according to tradition in the Dzyga Gallery on Armenian Street. In addition to performances during the festival, master classes and an entire scientific conference devoted, of course, to jazz also take place.

Also within the framework of the festival, renowned scholar, jazz musician and methodologist Robert E. Stoloff (Bob Stoloff) (USA) will give master classes in Kiev, Lviv and Kharkov, as well as take part in a conference in Lviv.
